I Wish Have It in My Millitary Mellow

The M82 is a short recoil semi-automatic firearm. When the gun is fired, the barrel initially recoils for a short distance (about an inch/25 mm) being securely locked by the rotating bolt. After the short travel, a post on the bolt engaged in the curved cam track in the receiver turns the bolt to unlock it from the barrel. As soon as the bolt unlocks, the accelerator arm strikes it back, transferring part of the recoil energy of the barrel to the bolt to achieve reliable cycling. Then the barrel is stopped and the bolt continues back, to extract and eject a spent case. On its return stroke, the bolt strips the fresh cartridge from the box magazine and feeds it into the chamber and finally locks itself to the barrel. The striker also is cocked on the return stroke of the bolt. The gun is fed from a large detachable box magazine holding up to 10 rounds, although a rare 12 round magazine was developed for use in the first Gulf War.

The receiver is made from two parts (upper and lower), stamped from sheet steel and connected by cross-pins. The heavy barrel is fluted to improve heat dissipation and save weight, and fitted with a large and effective reactive muzzle brake. On the earlier models the muzzle brakes had a round cross-section; later M82 rifles are equipped with two-chamber brakes of rectangular cross-section.

M82A1 rifles are fitted with scope mount and folding backup iron sights, should the glass scope break. The US Military M82 rifles are often equipped with Leupold Mark 4 telescopic sights. The M82A1M (USMC M82A3) rifles have long Picatinny accessory rails mounted and US Optics telescopic sights. Every M82 rifle is equipped with a folding carrying handle and a folding bipod (both are detachable on the M82A3). The M82A3 is also fitted with a detachable rear monopod under the butt. The buttpad is fitted with a soft recoil pad to further decrease the felt recoil. M82A1 and M82A3 rifles could be mounted on the M3 or M122 infantry tripods (originally intended for machine guns) or on vehicles using the special Barrett soft-mount. The M82A1 can be fitted with a carry sling but according to those who carried it in the field, the M82 is much too uncomfortable to be carried on a sling due to its excessive length and heavy weight. It is usually carried in a special carry soft or hard case.

The M82A2 differed from M82A1 mostly in its configuration—that the pistol grip along with trigger had been placed ahead of the magazine, and the buttpad has been placed below the receiver, just after the magazine. An additional forward grip was added below the receiver, and the scope mount has been moved forward too

Browser Baru, Apple Safari 3.1 for Windows

Jakarta - Apple baru saja merilis browser terbaru Safari versi 3.1 untuk sistem operasi Windows dan Mac. Browser ini diklaim sebagai browser pertama yang mendukung fitur HTML 5. download link

Beberapa update terbaru yang disertakan pada browser ini termasuk tag audio dan video. Fitur unggulan lain yang dijagokan adalah offline storage HTML 5 yang memungkinkan browser menampilkan halaman situs beserta semua data dari komputer secara lokal tanpa perlu mengakses internet.

Dilansir Betanews dan dikutip detikINET, Rabu (19/3/2008), Safari 3.1 adalah browser pertama yang mendukung animasi CSS dan CSS3 Web font, yang memungkinkan pengguna men-download pilihan font yang disukai.

Menurut pengujian yang dilakukan perusahaan asal Cupertino ini, Safari 3.1 jauh lebih cepat dibanding browser lainnya. Apple mengklaim bahwa Safari 3.1 mampu membuka halaman situs 2 kali lebih cepat dari browser Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7), dan 1,7 kali lebih cepat dari browser Firefox 2.

Pun dalam pengujian Javascript, Safari 3.1 diklaim 6 kali lipat lebih cepat dari browser IE 7 dan 4 kali lebih cepat dibanding Firefox 2. Browser tersebut kini sudah bisa di-download di situs Apple.

Coke Vs Mentos

Pasti banyak dari kalian yang udah pernah melihat fenomena ini di Discovery Channel, NGC atau Youtube. Pas pertama kali gue ngeliat juga awalnya gak percaya dan mikir “Kok bisa yah…” sampai akhirnya gue dan temen gue Adjie penasaran banget pingin ngeliat aslinya. Karena kita enggak gampang percaya sampai kita bisa membuktikannya sendiri.

Ya udah, suatu sore akhirnya kita ngumpul di tempat dia dan kita belanja minuman soda banyak banget, ada Coca Cola, Fanta, Sprite dan Diet Coke. Sama 6 bungkus mentos. Kita juga nyiapin obeng dan tusuk gigi.

Yang pertama kita lakuin adalah membuat sate mentos. Karena kalau kita masukin mentosnya satu per satu akan ribet banget. Karena pasti sebelum mentos kedua masuk, reaksi dari mentos pertama sudah terjadi dan coca colanya sudah muncrat. So…sate mentos adalah solusi yang paling tepat.

Cara membuat sate mentos :

1. Siapkan obeng untuk menusuk yang tidak terlalu besar.
2. Tusukan ke mentos, tapi jangan sampai tembus, hanya pecahkan saja lapisan luarnya yang agak keras
3. Setelah itu tusuk dengan menggunakan tusuk gigi.
4. Lakukan ini berulang-ulang hingga menjadi sate mentos.

Kalau sudah jadi sate mentosnya…

Kita menggunakan botol coca cola 2 liter karena mulut botolnya yang lumayan besar untuk dimasukin sate mentos. Dan juga isinya yang banyak membuat rea

ksi semakin lama.

Begitu botolnya dibuka, kita enggak boleh terlalu lama membiarkannya, karena gasnya akan terbuang dan bisa mengurangi efek reaksinya. Begitu udah kebuka, langsung deh kita cemplungin sate mentosnya…dan inilah ya ng terjadi :

Ternyata reaksi cola dengan mentos membuat selur uh soda dalam coca cola tersebut muncrat keluar hampir setinggi plafon rumah, dan yang tersisa dalam botol hanya 1/3 dari isi utuhnya. Kenapa bisa seperti itu ? Kita juga ingin tahu sebenarnya, untuk info bisa dibaca di Wikipedia Diet Coke and Mentos Eruption.


Keren ya…Huehuehue..nah, dengan reaksi ini, sebenarnya kita bisa membuat banyak hal, seperti roket coca cola.

Facts behind the experiment

1. Sisa dari reaksi cola vs mentos yang tertinggal di dalam botol, apabila diminum rasanya manis doang, rasa sodanya udah gak ada lagi.
2. Selain coca cola, reaksi yang sama juga terjadi dengan Sprite dan Pepsi, tapi ketika kita mencoba dengan Fanta merah, reaksinya hanya kecil sekali, tidak seperti yang lainnya itu. Kita tidak tahu mengapa seperti itu.
3. Menggunakan Diet Coke lebih bagus lagi, karena kadar gulanya yang rendah, membuat tangan kita tidak lengket-lengket ketika terciprat semburan cola dalam melakukan eksperimen ini.

The Aryanization of Europe

The most central members of the Third Reich, including those of Hitler's High Command and those in his inner Circle had much more on their minds than German rule and Sovereignty. Much of what the Nazis believed and had as objectives was clandestine (kept secret) until the time they hoped they would take control of much of Europe. The National Socialists had a much greater goal than political domination of Europe. Their intent was to bring about a "utopian" rule of a Master Race: one which would have pure [according to their definitions] blood lines and return to elements of Nordic beliefs and culture and bring in a Third Millenial Reign or Reich. The Process of bringing about perfect blood lines, German/Nordic Culture and Religion, German rule and values in the culmination of a Master Race under a Master Plan is by definition "Aryanization".

Judenrein & Judenfrei

The most central concept in Aryanization to be understood is that of "Judenrein". The word comes from Juden referring to the Jews; and "reinreferring to purification. This term is often translated "Jew-free" or the removal of Jewish citizens from occupied territories and Germany. The root of the term rein goes a great deal farther, though. "Rein" refers to the removal of an impurity. ²"Judenfrei or Jew-free bears a slightly different connotation than Judenrein: to merely free Europe of all the Jewish citizens who lived there and helped build Europe was not enough for the Reich: they wanted the blood lines of Europe free of any trace of Jewish blood, or what we now understand as DNA. The Reich wanted no trace of their heritage left. Early laws in Germany before the war, vehemently forbade inter-marriage of Aryans and Jews. Even dating was discouraged, and sometimes public humiliation was directed by soldiers and police towards inter-racial couples. The Endlosung or "Final Solution" of the Jewish 'Problem" instigated by Hitler, Himmler, Eichmann and Heydrich primarily, was the plan of action meant to bring about not only the ridding of Jews from Europe but the ridding of Jewish blood from Europe. Germanization
"A Child is orphaned if he has no parents, a people if it has no youth."

"Germanization" was the term coined to mean the enculturation of non-Germans into German living, society values and beliefs. Most often germanization was targeted towards certain Jewish or other non-German children who were left after deportations or determined before hand to be "suitable". Children deemed "suitable" for germanization were those with Aryan-like features, intelligent , attractive and with other appealing qualities. Other children were deported and often gassed, or became victims of mass shootings by the Einsatzgruppen. Some were placed in orphanages, although by the end of the war, most orphanages had been cleared out; and many German children were sent to orphanages in their stead to avoid bomb-plague metropolitan areas. Jewish children who qualified for "Germanization" were most often sent to live with selected German families and were given aryanized names. They were forbidden to worship as Jews, wear Jewish synagogue apparel such as prayer shawls, or even refer to their past; they were often baptised into the Catholic Church or German Christian Church [Lutheran] and were brought up completely as German children. Only a few groups, such as the Hugenots in France (See Le Chambon") allowed Jewish children their own worship choices.
Germanization also had a broader meaning: when Nazi troops moved in and occupied territories, a Germanization process also began: German values, belief, foods, entertainments, and culture were vigorously promoted. The Germans hoped to take over not only land, possessions and people, but their ways of life and 'germanize' the soul of occupied nations. There was a purpose and plan to the germanization of acquired land, which will be discussed under the topic "Lebensraum".

Keindahan Kota Tua

Waktu kemarin inI gw baru dikasih tw temen untuk pergi dinner di Cafe Batavia, kata mereka sih tempatnya asik banget, terus dilihat kalau malam kayanya asik juga tempatnya, jadi penasaran pingin nyoba, tapi gw belom sempet pergi ke sana. Secara bulan ini gw sibuk banget dan ga ada temen yang mau gw ajak uuhheeu, tapi kata dia sih tempatnya asik gila kalu malam hari. Selain itu ada temen yang suruh cari informasinya di internet trus masukin ke blog, So gw cari deh…

Di Cafe Batavia kita dinner sambil dengerin live bandnya yang bawain lagu-lagu swing, vokalis cewenya suaranya merdu banget, bening dan empuk. Parah itu keren banget suaranya (itu seh kata temen gw yang kasih tw). trus pas gw dapet pulang malem (maklum abis lembur, tipe pekerja keras sih heuhue), gw coba masuk sekitar jam 23.00 dan udah enggak terlalu ramai

makanan disitu oke2 banget dan yang jadi menu utama sekaligus favorit disitu adalah dimsum, gw juga ga ngerti tuh makanannya kaya apa, tapi sih yang jelas menurut berbagai sumber yang dapat dipercaya rasanya enak gila uheuhheu...

selain itu juga ada museum batavia/fatahillah, yang katanya kalo udah malem banyak yang lagi pacaran, jadi pengen liat uhheuhhue....tapi jika dipikir2 lagi bagus juga banyak bangunan tua di jakarta, biar ada sejarahnya tuh kota dan biar keliatan lebih ke ke-Eropaan gitu loh.uhheuhhue.....

Tampang Kita Jadul

Gw nemuin site ini lumayan seru : Yearbook Yourself Jadi kita bisa masang foto kita terus ntar kelihatan kalau jaman-jaman dulunya tuh seperti apa. gw sih belom coba untuk ngeliat diri gw jadi apa, abisnya gw takut ngeliat tampang jadul gw.hehe..., sebenernya sih gw ga bisa bwat uploadnya, abisnya dia punya kelemahan ga bisa upload lebih dari 1 Mbps, secara foto sekrang rata2 2.5 Mbps semua hehe, semuanya pada nyobain deh ntar lw bisa ngeliat sendiri gimana jadinya uhuhee.
